Swedish Match had high and unclear shipping and logistics costs across European markets. The cost base was fragmented, and there was no overall picture of carrier contracts and freight volumes.

We carried out a complete survey of shipping and logistics costs across European regions. Based on the analysis, we restructured carrier contracts, consolidated volumes between regions and negotiated new terms with existing and new carriers.
